                  That must be a very unique and rare piece. Back then(and still now)uranium is not a common substance. I still wonder why? Esp. when they were working on using it for weapons and I believe U-Boot propulsion as well. You have some nice items in your collection.

                        Finally took apart and cleaned my K98 Mauser with my 1940 original cleaning kit. I'll be making an instructional video on how to disassemble a K98

                              Most glass WHW pieces that are green have trace amounts of uranium in them as it was common to find it in color glass during that time period. The pieces that have this much in them are rare...I have had hundreds and hundreds of green glass WHW pieces and I have only one myself that is like this one here. You'll find a lot that have trace amounts and glow a little bit...but when you have one like this you will know it!

                              As for safety...I suppose if you kept it in your mouth day in and day out for years it may have some sort of effect...but it is no more dangerous than a feldgendarmerie gorget.
