Thanks to all the comments. It's a work in progress with proper glass cases and display methods needed. I should have some new helmet stands coming in this coming week. I appreciate all the feedback

I wrote to the WASt, and I'm still awaiting a response from them. All I know is that my Opa was killed in action in May 1943 on the Russian front. So that narrows it down to the seventh or eighth LW field division Outside of Stalingrad, this is all I know so far. Thanks again everyone!

Wilhelm, it's uranium glass. Uranium glass is glass which has had uranium added to the mix before melting. Thanks for the comments
