    Normandy 44! Mannequin's Make-up and Display

    Hi to All,

As some of you already know and saw, I customize mannequins for myself but also for collectors and I just finished to work on the mannequins of a superb collection of a friend of mine dedicated to the Normandy 1944 campaign.

Here is the first of the 10 mannequins realised; a 82nd US Airborne D.Day...with kit!

    ...the others will follow soon...

    Best to All,
    Thierry

82nd US Airborne Uniform on mannequin with kit!

Absolutely supperb Thierry !, really love the natural pose and all the little details. The SS helmets in the hand are great props which tell a story as does the belt & buckle.

        Hello Thierry,

Superb, as always. What brand of Mannequin is this? First time I've seen this one! Keep up the good work.

          Hi,
Really Thanks! also to Greg & Jan

The mannequin used is a Hindsgaul but a "teen" one because of the original Airborne enhanced uniform (really wore for the D.Day!) which is quite small...that give to that paratrooper a young but "puckish" face that suits him well (imho)

...the next one is a GI of the...4th Inf.division (as per your pseudo!) waiting to board the LCT which will lead to the beaches...coming very soon.

          Best
          Thierry
