I don't know a lot about Imperial -- what is the cross with the ribbon that has the black & white reversed?

This is the non-combatant Iron Cross. In the 1939 Series, there was no non-combatant EK issued, it was replaced with the War Merit Cross series.
Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
      All the best,
      Chris

Unfortunatly the ribbon is a repro I really don't like it being in there,it might contaminate the rest .I haven't had any luck with getting an original.

I realize change is hard, but it looks great! If it bothers sit down and play with it again. I am quite sure you will find something that pleases you. Nice collection.

            I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

                Eric,

I use Riker Mounts with black velvet backing. I still have a problem with change. I will occasionally move things and you will always see great new ideas here. One thing I'm glad I did was to separate my '14 and '39 pieces.

I have one representative mount with the series of EK awards, RK, '39EKI, '39EKII, 1st Class Spange (need to replace - fake), '14EKI, and '14EKII Ribbon with Spange. Then I have a mount with '14 EK awards, basic stuff. Then I just put my collection of other EK's into mounts with like awards.

I suppose I should just take some photos. Anyway, it's very organized and easier to explain to the uninitiated. Another thing I do, just for looks, is to try to fold the ribbons to the same length for a more uniform look. That alone really makes a difference. Easy to do and the result is worth the effort.

AAAHHH you sound like my kind of guy ,one of the things thats killing me is the ribbon lengths!but its easir sadi than done .I'm deffinatly going to split my collection up i think it does look much better seperated.
