a small collection of my grandfather

My grandfather was in his 2nd year at medical school when the Japanese bombed pearl harbor. He enlisted the next day, and was rushed through school in a year and sent to south pacific. These are the few pieces which were given to me by my Grandmother, and are the most important things in my collection.
The nambu was probably picked up on a beach somewhere, shot smoothbore but still all matching. He used it as a paperweight in his doctor's office in the 1950's. THe bolo is one of the nicest I have ever seen, made for him in the phillipines at the end of the war. I also have 3 watercolors he did during the war. There was also a photo album but no one seems to know what happened to it He developed all the pictures himself using x ray film.
