one thing that annoyed me was to see that in the magazine they attributed this great painting to another artist...and I have the original painting signed by my Granddad....





Funny thing he would repeat some ideas on other works....



and still have the model train he used...it was later a present to my Dad...

A little parenthesis on binoculars...!!

This standard 6X30 are very dear to me, they are my most treasured optic, as it was a gift from a very dear friend of mine. His father was a Lt in the Gebrigsjager (Ek2, Ek1, Infantry Assault Badge, Wound Badge in black, German Cross in Gold) He was murdered by Partisan in northern Italy, 1945.













The button flap is marked 1942 and neck strap is marked 1941, a photo copy of one of his award certificates:

My Grandmother passed away last year at the age of 97....she inherited me this Singer sewing machine....a real jewel......

This lighter was a gift form a coworker...he said it was given to him by an SS officer during the war...........

Into the Battlefiled Relic world.......

Up to the 2000´s I had never heard of battlefield ground dug helmets. Then in 2003, my Father went to Greeceon a bussines trip and when he told me if there was anything I wanted I told him that if he found one to bring me another German helmet for my collection, and he hessitated a bit but brought me this lid.....nothing very special but loved it....















Up to that point i only collected lids in good condition.....

When he brought this helmet, Man!! I was hooked, the condition of it fascinated me and more over that it was dug up from a battlefield. I started researching about relic lids and well the rest is history……

I am now a relic fan!!
