Here detail photo of my combat vet, a Waffen SS M35 reissue helmet, with a typical Pocher decal, the lot number indicates manufacture in 1939 and matches the date on the liner band, it has a rather rough textured paint and underneath the Pocher decal and the paint you can still see the outline of the original factory decal and through some of the combat wear you can also make out its an SS.......
the opposite side looks what appears to be either the remnants of a politzei decal:
This helmet is most likely a KIA.....detail of battle damaged with some blood oxidation..also note how the leather liner is missing a piece of point of entry and si somehwhat shrunken.....
Still a nice reissue lid......

One day while hearing what other family members had done during the war....my Grandfather took me out into the hallway and from a closet that had probably not been opened in a long time, he took out a huge bundle of papers and told me this is what I did during the war.......
It had all the original paintings he had been commissioned to do by the Anglo-French institute in Mexico. He was a renounced artist and all this paintings were printed in magazines and posters of the period.....
This is some rather rare original propaganda...!!!
