my slowly growing collection in new cases

Upgraded the way I display.. before the stuff was in a small cabinet ... made it hard to see many of the items.
this box was on sale at the hobby store.. it houses my medals/awards/misc.

this frame holds kvk's and an armband.. tried something different.

    Insignia

not displayed but relating to TR are an early SA /SS backpack and tropical canteen.
Also the firearm collection.. but it doesn't get displayed.
here is a Russian Capture K98 that I took back to more original condition.

This small setup relates to my grandpa. He was a Seabee in the South Pacific and was in many of the large battles.
unfortunately when he got discharged as the war ended he wad so happy to go home ge didn't collect any of his medals or keep much of anything relating to his service. I like his dogtags on the original chains.

not displayed but relating to ww2 US would be a wwodframe pack with strap pads, pocketwatch style compass. Backpack on the frame, musette bag underneath. also have an M1 all correct 1945 Springfield.

I will soon (after I get done re-doing the whole housr I will be building a corner cabinet to display field gear.

Nice collection It is always a problem as to how to display our collections I have also gone with the framed approch as you can see everything at a glance[ but this poses the "I HAVE RUN OUT OF WALL SPACE"problem]
    All the best with compliments

Thanks all.. I need an updated pic of the K98.. I have an original sling now.. still on the search for a reasonably priced bayo.

I think tomorrow we are getting out my wife's TR pistol collection. She has 3 FN model 1922's.. two late war with wood grips (one original mag) and one early with bakelite grips and matching holster and mag. Also has a Spreewerke P38 with matching waffenmarked mag. all are vet bringbacks. Next she wants to get a Hi Power.. who am I to stop her?

I'm excited to make my Field Gear display cabinet... will be a corner cabinet.

crafty devil aren't you. Get your wife interested in TR and it opens up whole new avenues for collecting. I've tried that approach with my wife but she won't bite. I like your M-1.
