Thanks!Here's a close-up of the Tripoli ring (the T and i are worn off) since it was asked for. It was discussed for several days on another site and was finally considered to be period, but could easily be British instead of German. I'm not sure, and I'm no expert in rings. I like it.

That is a very nice ring, the T800 stamp I believe to be Arabic in nature. This is what I typically consider to be an "Officer" style ring as its heavy and very nicely done. First one I have seen with Triopli on the front in this type of ring. Normally you see Tripoli on the cheaper rings made from melted down silver coins. Wouldn't mind having this one in my collection of rings. Matt

The cat's name is Odysseus (Greek mythology) cause he has many adventures. He's a ham for the camera and I guess he decided he wasn't getting the camera's attention.

When working on papers and such, he'll sit on them also. But as far as daggers go, he won't touch them. He did make one of those skull rings disappear a few weeks ago right after I received it in the mail. I was sure it was lost forever, but he had played with it, knocking it off a counter. Whew! The rings go in a box now for safe keeping.

That is funny. Missing items are bad. Glad you found it. Odysseus is a pretty kitty. My orange cat, Punkin, knocks over small pieces of my kit items. I always know he has been there. Gotta love the cats.

I was worried for awhile that it was even authentic, the guy I bought it from was vague, had only posted a few times, and it took 5 weeks after payment to arrive.
