A few WW2 studies from my small collection

    Hi all

I only have a few WW2 items, but I find it always great to make a small study of the things I temporarily safekeep.

Today I will add a first post to this thread related to the uniform af an NPEA student (Jungmann) from Ilfeld.

I was very fortunate to pick up an NPEA tunic and matching trousers from Bill Shea and a dagger from Ron Weinand. So, now still looking for a nice matching cap. Hope you find the info of interest.

          Thanks Petopoint.

Because of this forum I could write-up a small article on my SA Sturmfahne. I got some really good help here. So, the three next pages are a recap of some of the messages I received:

JS1 what a great way to share your collection. A lot of collectors might document general info on items like condition, value or where they found it but not like this. Well done.

Agreed, very well documented and presented items. Have you considered making a blogsite or webpage with these presentations?

                Thanks !

yes, I do have a website (see my banner below), but so far I have only put a few WW1 presentations online on the site. More to be added soon I hope,

                  Hi all

Recently I bought a nice tunic which I would like to present. Thanks to the seller and several members on this Forum for there help in reviewing the items.

Wow, what a nice way of presenting the stories about the items.

Usually I always have to tell the story every time when someone comes to visit and is looking at my items. Apart from small labels in my displays, which are serving the purpose of general info, I think this is the best explained and story-covered presentation I've seen.

Congrats and just continue with the good work!

                        Hi

thanks for the nice comments. Another reason for my documentation efforts is also not to forget things after a while....
