What's Cooler???

Ok what is cooler as a collector? I know everyone will have different opinions determined by their taste.

Item #1: Mg42 Lafette Mount, sanded and painted, MG42 Dummy Gun, with two DAK ammo cans and ammo belt. Both the sling and lafette straps are original WWII German.

Item 2: M42 SD SS Helmet (I know there has been a debate on this helmet but it is 100% original.)

If you had the Mg displayed in your home, that would make an eye-popping display and start many conversations. The helmet is cool, but the gun is better imo.

So am I the only one who would take the SS helmet over the MG? Maybe it has something to do with what a pain in the arse it is for me to move my collection around the world every three years.

I know what your saying.You get a room the way you want, next thing you know your packing up again.Plus lugging a MG around the world might not be so easy
