    My Display Room and Collection

    All,
Thought I would share with you my collection. I'll break it up by country and type (headgear, field gear, groupings, etc.) so you'll have to forgive me while I upload.

First up is my display room. Nothing to write home about, but I enjoy it and it's as much as my wife will allow (however I have taken some liberties with a little overflow into the bedroom)!

1916 dated Lee Enfield (stock has been sporterized)

    M44 Mosin Nagant dated 1945

Top rifle is a Type 30 Arisaka with Chrysanthemum. This was a bring back rifle by my wife's great uncle who was a Navy Corpsman

Bottom Rifle if a Russian Captured K98. Bayo was acquired seperately and has matching #'s

Very well done, a tasteful and classy display. A collection to be proud of!

    Thanks for showing,
    Mike

Next up is my German headgear...

      M1895 Landwehr Pickelhaube

Salty EM/NCO Luftwaffe Visor manufactured by Christian Haug with Yellow piping for flight

1st Pattern Heer Pith helmet dated 1942 and manufatcured by JHS

M40 DD Polizi Helmet - Q64. this was a bring back helmet; not ground dug. the wife of the soldier who broaght it back kept it in the garage, exposed to the elements, hence it's condition. Quite sad...

M42 SD Luftwaffe Helmet - NS66. This belonged to my grandfather, who was not in the Luftwaffe, but rather used it as a motorcycle helmet in the 70's!

Some field gear, uniform accouterments, and other misc German items...

          HJ Armband

          HJ Buckle

1936 dated Heer Buckle - RS&S marked - This was brought back with the DD Polizi Helmet posted earlier

          3x3 Window Flag

          NSKK Dagger - RZM Marked

          Gas Mask and Cannister

This one is an, "I wonder". I found it at a flea market and the only thing that stood out was the sticker on the reverse. Either post war added or possibly done so by a sympathizer? the camera itself was manufatured in the early 1900's by a German maunfacturer.
