Hi Lars, well it looks great But if I brought one of these outside off Australia I will still be not allowed to bring it in as our Customs restricts anything that looks like the original believe me I have brought in a few weapons over the years and each year the rules change for the worst! The first 2 were a Maser K98, and a P08 Lugar, they both had their barrels welded closed but everything else worked, the last 2nd last one I brought in 2 years ago was a P-38 and this time they made me (it already had the barrel welded) weld the side movement, also weld the trigger, and then block off the end of the barrel. The last weapon I brought in was a dummy MP-40 that I brought in the US as I picked it up for US$250.00 delivered, now if I brought this he in Australia it would off cost me AU$800.00 (for the same maker) its because the sellers he know the problems off bringing these in and can charge what they want, and guess what we have 7 states that make up Australia, and some of these wont let you bring them in at all, and seize them and destroy them, my state of WA allows them in! Now get this I got all the approvals (paper work) form the WA Police firearms department, and also spoke to Customs as by now I got to know a few of the Custom officers, and they approve it as well! Now once it arrived in Australia (copies of permits inside with the replica MP-40) it entered Customs Victoria (this state allows replica weapons) the for some reason (and I don't know why) it went to Sydney NSW (and this state bands replica's) and then I received a letter from Customs stating this is a band import if I fought the dissension of them confiscating and destroying it, I would be charged lawyer fee's and plus I will be marked by customs as a person to keep a eye on! At the end I fought the dissension, and won, they then sent me the MP-40 as I had done the right thing! I didn't even get apology from them just stress!
