Gregory,
When you look at that collection it's hard to belive. It will take you many more visits to "digest" the whole thing! I'am pretty much speachless looking at the pictures.
You should tell your friend to get rid of the neon light in the roof - it damages cloth material. Replace the neon light with old fashioned light bulbs instead.
Looking for any original items related to Danish W-SS volunteers
Absolutely fantastic, but over lunch, you may want to pick your friend up on a technicality....
I'm sure some of those '39 spanges in the EK2 cabinet look attatched to the '39 EK2 ribbons...
On the other hand, I'm sure he knows his stuff, so you may want to just shut the hell up on the off chance that he may one day wish to offload some of this in your direction!
thats right!!! me soooo nice to him
no really he's a nice man.
i have a story that he told me:
he's a retired baseball umpire, and has a gold ticket to get into any game he wants and that even means world series free! also get's free tickets too.
so hear you go, he knows and went to meet the author of many military books, and took him and his wife to the world series free ALL the games that year and had a super time. he said this man has over 1 million in collectibles in his home. so after the visit and games he was getting ready to leave and the man put a medal into his hand, he said he just slipped it into his pocket with out looking and then when he got home he looked it up in a book and found out it was a FAKE!!!
this guy knew what he did, and gave him a bad medal??
well have to say my friend is not happy at all!!!!
true story!
