A little more about the skull, yes it's a real one (collecting skulls is another hobby) and it will serve as a 'real' ss totenkopf as the ones seen on visors etc, just negotiating atm to get a hand on 2 femurs and then i can assemble the set.
Reason why i decided to do this is because i try to display a cap/visor/helmet of the according type with each dagger, an ss visor/cap is just too expensive for me and i just can't seem to find a decent SA-kepi so i opted for the skull& bones to place with my ss/sa daggers.
That makes good sense, the skull seems pertinent and appropriate in this context.

I didn't see page 2, somehow the skull doesn't fit although it is cool.

Nice display. I don't find the skull to be in poor taste.

Godts, I really like how you have so many items in such a tight space and yet it is presented extremely well. Nice work.

Can you solve the mystery behind the skull? Certainly no hinduistic swastika..., the teeth and the complexion, oak leaves, iron cross...- it really looks genuine and then detailled crafted to something weird and cultic- who did that and why? Is there any story? Looks like a mystic Indiana Jones artefact that makes curious and bewildered.

I keep having problems with photobucket, is there any other site recomended to upload pictures? Or can i do it straight from my pc?

Skull is no mysterious artifact but a "simple" real skull that has been carved out. Certainly not a pre-45 "original" item, had some opinions of other collectors and tried to do some research myself and we all agreed it must be post-45. Skull might be alot older but the carving is not.
Think of selling it to make some room for a hat or helmet, but since i can't show some decent provenance i can't ask much more than the normal going rates for human skulls. Still nice but not enough to quit my job
