Hi Michael,

thanks for posting those extra pictures very nice helmet. Are the yellows as bright as that in real life or are they more of a dark orange in colour ???? is there any history with helmet ?

Hi Ashley,
that is the light, if I look at the yellow paint it is a little darker
in my opinion.

On the front yellow paint it looks like there are traces of a number 5
on it. I am not relly shure.

I got the helmet without any history from a dealer in the u.s.a. 1987.
Then I payed 111,-- $

The inside neckguard has some writing

sorry but the flash ? makes it very diffulcult to give a positive I.D.
Maybe a photo in natural light (if possible ) will help if its not too much trouble ?

Hi Michael, it does appear to be a number "5". If so this would indicate No.5 Kompanie.
