My Italian medal collection.

Also, i have a mystery ribbon in this collection. its on the top right and the ribbon configuration is yellow and pale blue. i bought it with a lot of Italian ribbons. after all my research, i cant seem to find a medal with that same pattern. i think it could be French or Belgium. also, i have a cross for the RSI thats possibly posthumous. opinions are always welcome.

For some time I'm also interested in Italian medals (main ~WWI) and got some for myself, but as always there is a problem with $ to get more of them... But this thema is just fantastic. Congratulations of having a very nice collection!

I agree.. the Italian Medals are very unique... perhaps an underdog in the world of medals because the medals above are quite nice! Scott

Scott , thank you for posting the pictures. and i totally agree with you, Italian medals are definitely the under dogs of the hobby. i also feel that in this hobby that if the country wasn't a major power during the wars they don't seem to be as popular to collectors. IMO.

just out of curiosity, does anyone know what that blue and yellow ribbon is in the second picture? i had bought it in a group of Italian ribbons but i have a hunch that it isnt Italian. but im not 100% sure of what it could be, but my guess is certainly European.
