Best way to display a visor and tunic

Hello all, when I say "best", I mean cheap. No fancy head for the visor or anything. I actually want it to sit on a cornor table with the tunic and visor atop the tunic. I want it to look nice of course. I thought about a shadow box, but they aren't deep enough for the visor. Is there something already made that I can buy at a decent price or does anyone have any DIY ideas? Thanks in advance

I still think that a mannequin is the best way....

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.....

Here is something that I made up from coat hangers, solder and a coat of paint.

        Another angle.
Sorry, forgot to add, the tunic and visor are repros.

Whatever you use, you need to support the rim of the cap body and pad the contraption where it touches the visor. Jacques

Joel - there are lots of ways to display them together, and I think if you go through this thread, you will get many ideas:

              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...11467&page=103

There are currently 103 pages for you to peruse!

You could also just have your tunic on a coat hanger directly beneath a shelf that the visor sat on, if you didn't want to spend any money on something more in-depth.
