My New Safe

Here is my new safe. For many years now I have not been able to view my parts of collection because I had no safe place to display it. Well I final broke down and bought a safe. I can see that I will have to buy another one already. However, it has already brought me much joy since I can now view my collection anytime without having to unpack something. I hope you enjoy the pictures and my collection.

Alright guys here is the info. First I purchased this safe from Cabela's. Here is a the telephone number.

1-800-237-4444 This is for orders and you can request a catalog from them.

The safe itself with shipping came to a total of $1231.00 Laurence I could have built the inside but it came that way. As for the combination Peter I can tell you the old combination was 1 2 3 4 5 6. However that one does not work anymore.

Did you custom order the inside then? Sure looks good, did these start out as a rifle safe, that why the shelves and what looks like Rifle racks?

A word of advice, somehow something with some moisture got into my safe (fire/ water proof safe) and the whole inside reaked of mold. Things started getting white powder growing on them. Get some sort of silica gel pack and maybe a charcoal filter to take away any harmful gases. Be sure to change the charcoal filter often.

My new safe employes these 2 techniques and I have no problems as of yet.

Just my 2 cents trying to help another colector learn from my mistakes.
