    Frames

    Hello,
Here is one of my favorite frames. It is a tribute to my late great uncle who served in both WWII (Navy) and Korea (USMC).

    Regards,
    Jody

      Nice!

Wow, nice display, worthy of a museum collection, taking some notes and ideas from my own display projects, I hope you dont mind .
Are they storaged in a black room? I mean with the heavy sunny light of Arizona, I hope they dont suffer any fading with the passing years.
Kudos to your amazing display skills.

            Hello,
Thank you. I keep my house very dark and I have shutters on all of my windows. In addition, I also have special museum UV glass in my frames and the documents are housed in special museum protective silicon sleeves inside the frames.

            Regards,
            Jody

A real inspiration for my document collection. Unfortunately, framing items that way would cost me a fortune. Nice to have a friend in the framing business.

                    Jody,

An outrageous collection of true museum quality! I like that you have them all framed and enjoy them. Yes, we need to make sure they don't fade, and you are taking precautions. But someday the sun will supernova. So enjoy them!

                          Collection

                          Hi Guys,
Thank you. As a matter of fact I am having several items framed for me as we speak. I will post them when they are done.

I like things well displayed and I have found that if you even have comon things displayed well they can show off better then higher end stuff placed in a riker mount, etc.

                          Regards,
                          Jody

Jody, I just love your displays, the show the true spirit of a historian. To collecting is half the fun, displaying them for optimum enjoyment is the second half. I could never understand how one can own the amazing artefacts and hardly ever look at them. Jacques

Nice collection of autographs and related photos Jody!
Of particular interest to me is the one of Alexander Graham Bell. The town I was raised in, Paris Ontario, is where he made the first long distance telephone call from to Brantford Ontario, where he lived at the time.
You are very fortunate to have a friend collector that does your framing.
                                Congrats,
                                Ralph.
