Thanks for the reply! But I must say it again: it's not my whole collection!

        Cheers,
        Junior.

Though it's not the best way to store a Zeltbahn, it's a nice way
I prefer to put mine on a bust or folded in the correct way.

          But the setup looks nice!
(En bedankt voor de informatie, ik wist niet dat de civiele bescherming nog Duitse gasmasker kokers heeft gebruikt!)

Good start junior, I can remember when I was your age I only had a few rifle cases and one or 2 artillery shells with the addition of a US steel lid. Nice Zelt I want a SS oak leaf one to complete my Waffen SS assault order. Just rember to keep saving your dosh and take in as much info as possible on here, I expect you to be a specialist in 3rd Reich militaria by the time you reach my age !

              Hi Junior ,

What do you mean by : Forgot to say; the gasmask canister is re-issued by the Belgian Civil Guards.

Just re-issued or did they change the color or....?

I'm curious... and is the mask still the same one ?

Yes ,collecting starts with small items mostly..., when I started it were cartridges too and then one day I got 3 empty German gasmask canisters from my granddad where he kept his nails, screws and stuff in..
              That was the start....

              Jos.

The ammo-box is indeed for MG; it was found in a barn in the village next to mine. It belonged to the MG-team stationed there. And I'l take a close-up.
