Sündermann has sunk with the U-66 the 6 may 1944.

Hello Joe,

As per the soldbuch there are two side caps supplied and other one if necessary.

I have another side cap from U-66 crew member came with docs and decorations. This guy survived the sinking and has been captured. I will do picture later.
If you study the wartime pictures you can see the side cap evolution or replacement for a same guy. A new Kommandant is often a reason.
