And this is what's on display!!, in storage the have even more rare and "exotic" items. In the book Deutschland Erwache about the history of the D.E. standards/finials, is the story of how the original Fuhrer standard that goes with the famous A.H. D.E pole/finial was discovered in the archives of the museum in the early 1990's.

Many moons ago , their displays were much better. they now have a focus on russian military history as a whole. so a lot of the third reich items were removed. AND the items they had "stored away" is mostly gone. most of it sold out the back door in the 1980s / 90s.
I won't name which dealer..... but , this guy was among the thieves. he would buy 3 semi trailers full of stuff & send them into 3 diffrent directions. some times all 3 made it over the check points, ussually only 2 made it out. some guards you just can't bribe !! then their was getting the drivers back out of the country , after being caught.....
bear in mind, all of this was concidered state property.
the iron cross display ,originally was huge ! JUST iron crosses up to youre eye balls.

Some time ago, I went to the memorial museum of German anti-fascists in Krasnogorsk and made there a few photos. Unfortunately their quality (because of the lighting in the museum and the low quality camera) is quite low. In one here as an example. If interested I can put other photos.
