I remember both of you very well. I think the problem is my daily 5 hours of sleep, what I wanted to know is. In the picture who is Marty and who is Harry?

Hey Joe, the Luft M-43 is original; it is the thinner wool version, although I think the insignia have been replaced. The Luft visor is 100% with a busted chinstrap. There are at least 3 other original M-43 hats on the table. Several others are known repros. We were comparing the known originals for consistency of construction techniques etc. New repros with construction much closer to the originals were all over the SOS. There were probably 3 originals there compared to about 10-15 repros.

I'll give a hint as to who is who. Marty is a bit older than I. Does that help?
