The woundbadge is not an gold one if you would think it is, its an black that has been polished up to look gold.

Ribbon and paint on EKII lead me to think it is fake.
I also agree with Lasse on the Verwundetenabzeichen.

The wound badge could it be a original black badge which someone tried to look like a gold one?

Yes it could be, not worth to much, as an with paint cost like 35 euro or so.

Is the EK2 one solid piece of metal, or is the black part separate from the frame? It should have an iron core inside a silver (or silver colored) frame.

Maybe you can try to do the gold paint off the Black-Woundbadge... It's your choice, but I wound't do it , its still nice on a mannequin or something....
