    A Family of Wings

    <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->

    Here is my latest find, a whole family of aviation wings from WWII. They came from a Navy pilot who had gathered the others up throughout the war. I thought you guys might enjoy having a look. If anyone wants, I can provide more pics of anything. Also, in order to add these to the insurance I have on my collection, I need a value. When I find the time, I will do some checking on them, but if anyone knows what these are worth, please throw that info my way.
    Thanks

    Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
    All the best,
    Chris

    Very nice wings. I'd likle to take a closer look at them when I come over to San Angelo later this Spring. I've been collecting US wings for nearly 30 years. The one with the flower lookes to be a Japaneese (post war) Navy (?). Never seen a flower superimposed on a set of US wings before. I have a 2" AAF Bombardier just like to one you show, gave $40.00 for it about 10-12 years ago. It's worth more now.

      i agree with Lee...i have not seen a wing with that flower design and could not id it...
      the others are pretty straight forward...the 2 that look the same are pilots wings...one shirt size the other a full size wing...worth about 100.00 for the 2.
      the gold LGB naval aviator is worth about 60.00 and is the best of the group imo.,,, the smaller bomb wing is worth about 50.00 tops.
      normally any maker mark with a number indicate post ww2 manufacture\
