          Wow you really found your "niche" in this hobby!
          I see some bakelite cleaning kits. Top shelf 2nd slot from the right!

          I also own one of those. I heard these are post war early BundesGrenzSchutz
          (BGS)...Is that true or do war time wehrmacht bakelite cleaning kits exist?
          Any markings on those?

              bakelite cleaning kits are much less easy to find than of other cleaning kits WWII or post war.

              their contents are identical to others and here is to them marking.

                So your bakelite example is 1944 dated it appears.
                I always wondered why some collectyors have stated that bakelite cleaning kits are a post war variant....
                as war time oilers are also made in bakelite so why not the kit case!

                      That looks like a manufacturer code to me, I am not sure that is a date.

                              I have two friends who collect cleaning kits along with WW2 German rifles and bayonets - your collection of kits is SUPERB!!! So impressive and thank you for posting the data on them - AWESOME!!!!
