award doc & award displayed together

I'm hoping some of you fine collectors out there may have examples of award documents displayed with their respective awards that I may use as guidance when setting up my own. I recently purchased a number of award documents and I am hoping to perhaps frame the award & doc together for display...


I like the idea of putting the both together in a frame of some type - archival safe of course Anyone care to share pics of their own so I can get some ideas??

A simple shadowbox frame, deep enough to accomadate the thinckness of the medal.

Mike, that's a great display....the idea of displaying a photo of the badge in use in addition to the award doc/badge was something I didn't think of. Thanks for sharing

Here is another example. Just make sure the cut outs are deep enough for the medals and awards. Also DO NOT frame the original paperwork, used good scanned copies. Originals will fade. Jacques

Those are excellent....great displays! Thanks for the pointer on using copies...I was all set to get UV glass, etc....much safer to just keep the originals secure/safe and use copies.....
