    Finnish head gear collection

    Hi, I have made some changes and have added some additional headgear to my collection.

          Yes, Hans my favorite is also the M/22 caps

          Razputin, I have added a picture of the cross, it the only one I have right now.
          The lot show is named to a relative of mine, she was an SS recruiter during the war. Her picture and other medals including her German eagle medal is shown.
          I also have her SS table flag.
          The SS cross is number 12 of what I have been told was only a total of 44 recruiter cross given out.

            Hi, thought I would add one more picture of some of my other Finnish caps.
            There is one German M/43 mountain cap, the only German cap I have.

                Hi Hans, No idea when exactly she received hers.
                I have pictures of her in books with the German SS, her name is Siiri Tuomola.
                Her family actually owned and lived on the property were the Parola tank museum is now.
                She is the mother of my sisters god father, he lives here in B.C. Canada.
                He is the one who gave me what was left of his mother medals.
                Most of her SS items, letters, photo's were all burned by her family after she died.
                I was told she was on a KGB death list after the war, she always, even up to her death had a suite case packed by the door.
                A good photo and her name is mentioned and shown on page 37 of the book "Wikingin Suomalaiset"
                by Kari Kuusela and Olli Wikberg.

                    Yes!, headgear is one of my passions, there so many variations.
                    I think I could go on forever and still find something different.
