The badge shows a downward pointing flaming sword (or a winged dagger),
worked in cloth of a Crusader shield and with the motto of Who Dares Wins.

Indeed 'tis the badge of the British Special Air Service.

We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go
Always a little further: it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea ...

And one last panoramic parting shot before my next loot comes in.

                  Rob,

I collect all things with a prominent eagle insignia and the Todt badge was very fitting.
SS items are great but it is a minefield. Do you go down to fairs?

                      Thanks

                      Thanks Mil,

I have the chance to buy an original Fritz Todt badge just like yours. I personally think its a nicely designed badge. What I do not understand, and I could be wrong, these badges don't seem much in demand.

Again, very nice pictures to view.

                        Mike,

Those Org. Todt. badges are under-valued and there will be a time where it will be appreciated. It is nicely built, heafty and has a stunning eagle design.

                            Eddie,

That will always be remembered as the classic TK shot.
Taking photos really gives me some space to get away from the buying spree.

                                Greg,

Thank you for your kind words.
Taking photos are a challenge but at the same time, a joy to spend time on.

Are you still collecting those SS tabs or have you moved on to SS BL pieces?

                                Mil
