    My Small German collection

This is all of the German WW2 items I have right now. I took the pictures outside as they seem to turn out better. It is a small collection but I hope to increase the size very soon. Enjoy!

Very nice! Many collectors eventually center their collecting to specific interests. My latest addiction is wound badges. You should post closeups of your pics on the photo forum. Regards, Ron.

Thank you! I am thinking I will stick with Heer field gear, although that is a pretty wide range of items.

I have already been collecting U.S. G.I. for a year before this and got the Canteen bug. So far I have about 21 of those. Pictures of that collection will probably be up tomorrow.

          Thanks for the advice!

          Sam

You have a nice collection there and it is a good start.

I would think so. I found it at a local antique store. The owner of the store has individual sellers in the store and the seller was a collector who had it for a while.

Excellent start, I started without focus and collected anything with a Swastika on it! Then settled on EK's and have put together a decent little stash.
I really like that breadbag you have and also would like to see the photos!
                    Happy Hunting!

Well you're off to a good start Sam. What you should consider next is a nice belt and buckle so that you can make a "set" and link the various items of fieldgear together, it really sets the tone. Trust me, I started out collecting field gear too.
