      Hello again:
Since you are in Istanbul I would love to see some Turkish Military Unit
Flags, either being trooped on parade or on display in some museum.

                  Merhaba salem, Director,
May I ask what part of Turkey the collection is in - Istanbul or just out of the city?
I loved the country when I was there for a few months and asked about WWII Collectors when it was appropriate.
Yes, many items on show are obviously fake or at least questionable, but there is a great deal there that is worthy of more research.
Nicely Displayed, I especially like the Ottoman selection (other than the tropical subjects!)
                  Best Regards from New Zealand,
                  Mark.

Same about the orders. But anyway, a nice little museum.

Yes, a "real" but civilian association flag with event pole plaques,
and not military and as such not worth all that much to collectors.

One of a series of fake SS pennants sold by Delta International,
once located in the 1970's near San Francisco in the East Bay
(near Concord) in Lafayette California. Delta's over the counter
sales were done in a soap windowed strip mall, the majority of
sales done by mail order catalog ads in the "Shotgun News", and
various magazines about antiques and history, etc. The Delta flags
and pennants were actually made by Paramount Flags in San Francisco
                                (now long out of business).
