    Humidity and Temp Questions

Is there such a thing as being too dry for a display case? If so what in your opinion is the perfect relative humidity for storing medals in. What is the perfect Temperature?

I am getting some Silica Gel pacs off eBay and want to get a few of them in my case. I am well aware of the effects of damp conditions, so is there such a thing as being too dry?

If you get a chance feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I would think if you have any cloth items in your case it should not be to dry

          Hi Shane,

This is where I buy all of my archival materials. You can also ask them what they reccomend for specific situations.

            Hi Shane,

When I use to collect British medals, rightly or wrongly I always kept them in a wooden glass fronted display case with a foam bed. This seemed OK and did not seem to have any effect on the medal or ribbon.
