            Back into the twill uniform...
The tunic and cap are both NZ veteran souvenirs.

                Jean-Philippe,
I think Besslein is comparing our live models to the mannequins that usually get posted

I must point out that Josef's nose is the result of bashing it inside an APC while on manouvers, so perhaps we could call it 'half-track' damage?

                      Last one.
Our sincerest THANKS to all those who willingly contributed to the article in any way during the six months it took to organize. It simply would not have worked as well as it did without their combined efforts...

Yes....thanks to all those who got involved in this project. Thanks to you Mark for accepting to work with me & to have brought with you your stuff and experience, thanks to Robert Noss and Bill Petz for their nice period pics, thanks to Mark's friends for allowing pics of their caps to be published or for providing firearms...Thanks to all of you.

The next pic was taken a long time ago in order to prepare the article. The phone number of this young fellow has been lost so no way to contact him anymore when the time of taking real pics has arrived...sorry for the "sunglasses", but as i don't have his agreement...
I'll try to find more pics later....
                        thanks for watching

                          just to recall the context....

The unshaved fellow looks like a nasty old kraut, I wouldn't like to find him in some abandoned trench.

Great pictures, it does not get more realistic than this.
