Sorry- it was listed under my name. My son is 11 and a new member. This is his collection and is quite happy with the start. We are both learning together about these.

Hey Drew, I'm 45 and have picked up a few fakes unknowingly But still a nice start and once I learn how to post I will show my good with the bad. I've been a member for only over a month but I've noticed there are a lot of nice people who will help us both find the original pieces that make this such a fun an educating hobby.

                Take Care,
                Frank

                  The Dad here-
The gold one is a fake. He got it for ten dollars, so I am not crushed over it. He sold a m1-carbine paratrooper stock to a guy and got some other stuff, including IAB,GAB,PAB, east medal, merit cross, and two EK2s. It is nice to see kid blowing dough on this, rather than the next generation of "pokeman" cards.

                  Drew here,

Medals are more fun than those stupid idiotic pokemon or yugioh cards. This stuff is actually worth it.

Ya, most of the people here are very nice and sell very nice medals(authentic ). I buy most of my stuff from www.detlev-niemann.de it's a good site and has a pledge of authenticy. They get new medals every Friday.-

                          Wow

I started at 8 yrs old collecting ww2 Raf items and moved onto Third reich at your age. I never had anything as good as what you have now, bk then. Thats a great EK1, I rember when I got my cased example couldn't stop looking at it.
Keep up collecting its a worth while thing to do. If you want my advice for what its worth, read every scrap of information you can get your hands on. Not just information on medals and other items, but the history of the third reich. Start by looking at the first world war then you will see the move to the weimar republic and then onto the third reich. Then you will have a much greater understanding of the subject.

                          Keep it up
