    Dougie's Collection

    Hey Guy's,
I thought sharing my humble collection with you.
Please leave a comment. even bad ones are welcome
(I have a few replica RK's. I'm planning of selling them.)

in this picture (in the mirror) you can also see my other hobby: playing the Drums

Notice at the left, above the EKII, an MP44 (STG44) cartridge. A genuine SS cartridge in a nice minted state.

a picture of the queen Juliana with her kids. One of them is Beatrix. Our present queen.

    a close-up of my daggers

note: the RK is a (bad) replica

An early repainted Luftwaffe Helmet with a replica RK on a WWI gasmas can.

A Ravell model Tiger tank, an interesting chunk of metal. perhaps from a vehicle. Found it with a metal detector. underneath the heavely corroded layer was another layer of paint. so I carefully removed the rust. (can anybody tell me what that is??)

        Hi Doug,
Is there a mark on the EK2?. Do you know the maker of it?
Can you post a larger more detailed pic of the cross?
The display does look really nice though.
Also love the Bronze star. Is it named?
        Dave

                          Hey Nick,

                          Thanks for your kind comment.

I'm sorry, the RK's are fakes (bad ones hehe)
I kicked them out of my cabinet. All the repro's are kept out of sight now

The document you mean is a personal ID card. (From Holland)
Actualy, that's my grandmother's ID I'm very glad she gave it to me.

I will do an update soon. Got loads of other stuff now

                          Cheers!

                            Hi Dougie,
Nice stuff. What size of shell is that in the first photo (blue painted top)?

                            Regards,
                            Jody

                              Hey Jody.

                              Thank you!
The blue grenade is a post war 90mm dummy round with shell. (concrete filled, hence the blue paint) I actualy don't know which country or gun fired this thing. I though it looked good next to my cabinet

                              Cheers!
