I can only say that a trip to this museum is a must for all collectors, no matter what branch you're collecting. IMO one of the best in Western-Europe.
I visited it several times so far, and every time, the owners always put new items on display done in the most realistic way and with a lot of care and respect for the artifacts. Here is a link with some pictures of the last time I visit the museum and area...

Keep up the good work, Eric!

            Cheers

              Hello all

Jan, thank you very much for the pics you have posted.

I noticed that lot of members love the felfgrau jacket with the missing arm, here is the story:

This jacket has been found near Lille in an old hospital, the arm of the jacket has been cut in the hospital to take care of the owner, the soldier has probably been wounded with shrapnels, there are some other holes in the back.

Unfortunately we can not writte this story for the moment in the muséum but we are trying to explain some stories because people like them (and collectors too ), we have other pieces who has got theyr own story and we are working for some display to explain these stories.

I will try to post more photos of the muséum and of a spécial helmet for Jan .

Best regards and thank you for you kindly words

                  Hello all

Here are the pics of the helmet Jan was speacking, I hope you will enjoy the photos, the wire piece has been found on the helmet, the helmet was putted on a farm's wall, when the owner painted the wall of the farm, he tooked off the helmet and putted it after, have a look at the grey paint on the helmet.
It's funny to see american type red crosses on a german helmet.
                  Nice, isn't it ?
                  Best regards

I had the opportunity to visit Eric's museum last Friday along with a trip to the Battery Todt Museum. Having been up and down the coast of Paris for the Normandy celebrations, I can only say that his museum was the highlight of my visit. It is absolutely incredible. When one talks of collecting and condition of artifacts, Eric's by far are some of the nicest examples that I have ever seen. Nothing to upgrade. Everything was beautiful. I took several pictures in the museum, then bought the CD on the way out the door. Also picked up a nice Luftwaffe cable reel at a very fair price. Thanks for the opportunity to view the collections. It was the highlight of my trip to France.
