Still collecting H.J. cloth items. I have not added many things but here are the latest. Early H.J. strap from possibly Bann Eifel in the Aachen area, hard to say for certain, and a very early period D.J. Wimpel possibly used in the H.J. Gruppe Ost/Ostmark of the Berlin-Spandau or Brandenburg Gau of the S.A.. This color combination was also used by H.J. Gruppe Nordwest Koln, of the Westfalen-Nord and Westfalen-Sud Gau of the S.A.. Often in the period when the H.J. was subordinate to the S.A., the Gau colors of the S.A. were used on H.J. insignia and flags. The Sigrune patch in the photo may have been used by the same group. I'm unable to say with certainty the exact location of the D.J. Jungbann that would have used these items was located.

In short, if you have a lot of time and are not under any time constraints to come up with money it is best that YOU sell your collection one piece at a time. This maximizes the funds you receive for your items and gives you the most control over the disbursement of your collection.
If you sell it as one whole collection there will probably be very few people who could/would buy it other than a dealer, and of course a dealer will pay you .50 on the dollar at most.
The "issue" I see with your collection is that it is a very esoteric/specialized collection. There are probably not a lot of HJ collectors in the collecting community and those that are probably have a lot of the "common" items and are looking for rare items. The "bad" part about this is that these collectors will cherry pick your collection (if you are selling one piece at a time) and leave you with all of the common harder to sell items. So you will have to weigh out the benefits of maximizing profits versus how quickly you want to sell the collection.
I have sold several collections (guns, books, fly rods, medals etc) and can give you the pros and cons of selling items a piece at a time, selling via commissioned dealer and selling thru auction. Looking over all that I have done and seeing what other friends have done it is probably best to do a combination of the above.
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail.
BTW, I always admired this collection even though I do not collect HJ. I know how difficult and what determination it takes to assemble a collection as specific as this. (see my Luftwaffe officer collar tab collection in other threads)
