    My Growing Ek collection

Greetings Gents, as I am growing more skilled at posting photos that are not too distorted, I thought that I would give yall a look at my small but growing EK collection. I love these little things like they were my own offspring. In fact, I have tried to make my wife see the logic in: "Why do we need a kid to spend money on when we have a nice collection of EK's that we can add to?" Oddly enough, I dont think that she sees it that way!

Here is a list of the makers that I have:
    1870 EKII Unmarked
    1939 EKI 6, L/52, Double Strike L/52 & 20
    1939 EKII 24, 65, 15
1914 EK I KO, SW, 900 Screwback, Custom Cased 950
1914 EKII WS, KAH, N, MFH

Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
    All the best,

    One of My Favorites

My wife bought this piece for me last Christmas. We know we have good wives when they buy us expensive medals for our collections and still look at them as overpriced bits of old junk that just take up space.

You have a very nice collection -- and a very nice wife!

(I'll copy this thread over to the Collections Forum so others can enjoy it.)

A close view of my EKIIs. My next item that I am saving towards is an 1870 EKI. However, I am not very encouraged to see those high prices. Also, I usually tend to spend my collecting money on a "good deal" that pops up before I get enough saved up for an expensive piece.

Excellent collection Your wife and my wife must be related, She says you dont wear it, it does nothing but take up space, but she has bought me some very nice peices over the years. A KEEPER.

I just recently got engaged (February 5th 2004.), and I was wondering if you guys could direct me to whomever you used as a premarriage classes. Clearly your wives have the right idea and I would like my soon-to-be wife to share in their enthusiasm for the hobby of collecting.

Way to go. Clearly you two have not only good tastes in hobbies but good tastes in life partners as well.

              Talk to you soon,

              -Shane

Very nice assortment of EK's you have there. The glass/plastic lid on the display case is also a great idea. Keep up the good work and join us more often on the Crosses forum!
