            Hi Michael,
The case that the mothers crosses are in is called Purple Heart.
The color you see is the natural color with no staining applied.
Thank you all for your kind comments, and if anyone is interested in a case
I have started to make these and can give a free estimate.
I have a cherry case and an oak case on e-stand in the flea market section.

Yes, the bottom three are from the hoard, would love to see your cased MC when you get it.

                Hi Dave
Was wondering are the inside materials that you use Archival safe.Does the wood emit any kind of harmfull gases that would harm badges or medals. Thanks jay

                  Hi Jay,
They are neither archival safe nor unsafe
I have had my medals, badges, and packets in these types of cases for more than a decade with no ill affects. They are natural hard wood cases with a polyurethane finish and the inside material is a polyurethane foam with velvet.
These items spent most of their life in far worse storage and I doubt very much that they will suddenly start to deteriorate because of the case they are in.
All I can say is that I trust my collection in them, I am also making 2 for aff96 for his RK/ Ek collection which he said he will post when he gets them. If you don't trust them then I wouldn't buy them. If I sell you a case I want you to be 100% happy with it. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you.
                  All the best
                  Dave

                      Hi Michael,
Thanks for the kind words and welcome to the forum.
If you need a case you know where to go.
