My small SS collection

nice display, I like all the colors in the picture, red, green, blue, white, green, it makes me almost happy.

Nice picture also, but I see a gewehr98 and a DD helmet, so I think it's early and not late war.

@ T.K. Yes the photo is SS related, but very blurry it took me some time to recognize the SS troops but you can 'clearly' see SS-Schütze / SS-Mann and SS-Scharführer collartabs (and some arm eagles)

Here's my input on what is being depicted in this image; (nice collection btw)
These are actually French prisoners being taken to the rear (=opposite direction). They have already discarded their French helmets,wearing wedge caps or bareheaded now...
and besides French greatcoats with French collar tabs (not to be confused with SS collar tabs, see example), basic POW gear like breadbags, canteens
are being worn (cross straps visible).

Picture dates from Summer 1940 during the Blitzkrieg French campaign,
which explains the Heer helmet decals still being worn by the advancing Wehrmacht soldiers.
