    Photos with original kit?

    Hello,

I remember seeing some a while ago, REAL people wearing original kit for photos. I think this is a great idea and a goal for me (being 16) to one day stand in 'all' original gear! With making a photo in original gear, everything would have to be almost new looking as it would have, in say 1943!!

Dress up time!! Mannequins, nah.....! Get out there and take photos!!

    All the best,
    Nathan

    Hello Nathan

    i disagree with your theory
if you were dressed as a soldier in 1943 you could have been at war for 4 years. so i would think your kit would be anything but new looking

    just a thought

    regards

Depends, if he would indeed dress like a vet who fought since poland in 1939, yes of course the stuff could be heavy used.

But he would display a "Frischling", who just joined the army, everything could be brandnew.

Of course he has also to differ which models used, e.g. for the spade, and so on...
