Many thanks for the nice comments. Again, I would like to mention that I do not any of these SS items anymore. Please no more PM's. Thank you.

I have been very fortunate to have met some good people in my early collecting days who helped steer my down the right path. I definitely owe a debt of gratitude to them for keeping me from making any expensive mistakes and sharing their knowledge.

When I was looking back over my photos from the last twelve years, I was really amazed at all of the stuff that I had bought, sold, and traded. It was a great learning experience for me, as I was able to handle a ton of original material and learn from it. At the same time, owning a lot of different pieces helped to me understand on a more personal level what area's of collecting appealed to me more than others. For example, no matter how many times I started to build a medal/badge collection, I would always sell everything off when I need to money for something more interesting. I finally realized that owning all the different makers and versions of various badges held no real interest for me.

I guess we all go about collecting in different ways and after twelve years of trying out different things, I have no regrets. It was a lot of fun and helped me discover my true passion in the hobby - KC and TDB related material.
          Best,
          John D.
