    My First Twelve Years...

I recently passed the twelve-year mark of collecting and it got me reflecting a bit on where I began as a collector and the journey over those years.

I can’t speak for others, but personally I found myself over these early years trying on different ‘hats’ so to speak on what interested me. I originally started as an Army/SS collector, but soon realized that I was not in a position to collect both given the costs involved. That’s when I turned to W-SS only and I stayed there for about 10 years, putting all my time (and money) into this area. I collected W-SS for over 10 years, but ultimately I got bitten by the Knight’s Cross ‘bug’ and after two failed attempts, I finally turned my back on W-SS collecting for good. Anyways, I thought it might fun to share some of the items that I have been fortunate enough to own over my first twelve years of collecting. I will start by posting some W-SS items that I owned. Unfortunately, I didn’t not have the foresight to take photos of everything I’ve owned. Perhaps later in the week, I will add in the Army items from my first twelve years as well.

I hope that you will enjoy.

    Best Regards,
