    My Humble Collection II

Sorry guys. I just can't get the hang of putting more than one pic directly on a thread.
    So here is an album.

And, as I wrote on the other thread, here's what you can do on a relatively frugal budget. My humble collection, after a little more than a year and around $3,500.
And, yes, I know that the butter dish is postwar, and yes, the helmet is the notorious one I restored. I still like it more now than when I got it.
Actually, I started out doing the diorama, then I got the bug to restore some helmet shells, and finally I went for having a collection of basic infantry gear, etc., as well as books and movies to round out the collection.
I also some period newspapers and a soldiers photo album, at the bottom of the glass case.

What a wonderful collection that you have brought together! You have done well. I like the Diorama. Keep it up and Happy Hunting, Butch

Nice, but I have a question.
If you have two helmets, of which one is post war repainted, then how could this all have cost 3.500 dollars? It seems an awful lot of money, or am I missing something here?
