    International Collection

    Hi everyone.

The last piece of my collection arrived today, so I thought I would post photos for all of you to enjoy.

When I say last, its the last thing I'm buying for a while as I'm currently trying to get finance to build a house. When everything is ready, I'll be back collecting again

So here we are with the whole collection. A bit small, but this is about three months worth of collecting:

and now for the close ups.
Order of the patriotic war - 1st class. 1983 version (type 3 I think?) - Russia

7th and 8th class of the order of the rising sun - Japan

Ithink they are from different time periods...but I can't find the post at the moment that identifies which ones which

taiwan medal. Forgotten which one it is though!!!
    numbered case and medal.

and now for my thai collection

and the grand cordon of the order of the crown. he gets his own section ;-)

    feeback welcome and appreciated!!!!!!

oh - and if someone can remind me what the taiwan medal is, I would greatly appreciate it also... I'm still not sure if this is original or repro.

EDIT: remember all - feedback is welcomed and appreciated :-)

    hi all again.
sorry about the double post, I can't edit my original post.. but I found the taiwan medal description.

according to www.medal-medaille.com, the medal is awarded for Long Service Medal for 25 years’ service awarded to members of the National Guard
The one in my collection is the second class, so most likely, iut would of been for 15 years or something.

    NB: copyright for medal-medaille :-)

thanks adman :-) nice to see another member who likes the thai awards :-)

I know my grand cordon isn't the best quality, but I still love it and its definately the centre piece of the collection.

I look forward to getting a thai sword in march (depending if my finance has been approved by then) if I can win the auction. so fingers crossed!
