I was excited to check this thread after I saw the title. Even though the War Merit cross series of awards are relatively common, they are one of my favorites. I myself am presently trying to build a collection of variants and unique items related to all of the KVKs, so I really appreciate the effort put into your display and collection.

I'm glad I could make your day. I am a man of very limited funds so my collections
are really small or made up of inexpensive items, and I hope KVKs stay relatively under appreciated so I can keep collecting. You are right they are a very attractive award and I do enjoy them very much. I would love to see what you have already
