    WW2 Scherenfernrohrs (S.F14 14 Z Gi)

    S.F's by their very nature need a tripod and thus it is a task in itself to round up part of a collection for a photo session. I hope you like my approach to the photo session and that you like the goodies...

    the second challenge that I set myself was to take a photograph showing the makers codes : the attached pic shows examples from beh x2, bmj, bmk, cxn,and dhq.

              baby Nikko and papa Nikko trench binoculars

              The two Japanese WW2 field periscopic binoculars are Nikko 8x30 and the larger set is a Nikko 15x80. As a benchmark on the left of the picture I have added a WW2 era bmj (Hensoldt) WW2 10x50 scherenfernohr.
