Actually, the EK1 with case does not fit in the current state the display case is in now. What you can do is buy a deep case aprox. 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches deep and make sure it has a nice plush filler, get also a nice piece of foam backed felt (which ever color you prefer) and cut out a hole just a little smaller than the EK1 case, this way the box sits at the same level as the other awards in the case and the top will close without resistance.
I am getting ready to do this with my mothers cross collection and will post some pics for you. I am also in partnership with my brother(a cabinet maker) on producing custom display cases and will soon be selling them as I have gotten so frustrated trying to find a box that suites my needs.
When the mothers cross display is done I will PM you to let you know.
Will let you know what box I use for the display.
The box that is in the thread is from Hobby Lobby in the U.S.
