Ben, your display and collection are really something else, as usual; I am not sure the word "small" would be appropriate.

Excellent Ben, although I didn't expect anything less having viewed some of your previous displays. Thanks for posting.

Thanks you all for the nice comments.
The exhibition was done through our foundation "Remember September 1944" which tries to keep the memory and the legacy of the sacrifices made during those battles alive. We had a similar exhibition in the 101st area of operations, as soon as I get the pictures of that I will place them here. We also designed and manufactured a plaque in memory of the 82nd KIA's in our village. It was unveiled by Ray Allen of the 80th AAA - 82nd AB. Div. and is now prominently displayed on the facade of the city hall.
The non-profit foundation is still "young" and in development with the aim of getting a permanent museum in this area.
I don't know if it is allowed to put it here but our website is: http://www.rememberseptember1944.com/

I was really sorry I never managed to get over to see it all, the time just flew by.

Very Impressive Ben, I admire anyone that makes the effort to put on an informative public display . Its a lot hard work and a huge effort goes into both the planning and setting up. You have some very special items there, and you have created a real ambiance in the way you have displayed them.

                      Well done!!

                      Greg

It is nice to see that the history of those who once gave up their lives is not forgotten. I believe that you via your excellent display have managed to put some sparks into the youngsters. Hopefully they will continue the preserving of history.

                                My compliments once again
